(Admin) How to change a user password

This process will enable system administrators to change a user’s password to access the Fixus platform. This process is usually applied if a user has lost their password – the Administrator can apply a password to the user account for temporary access to the system.

Step 1: From the Program menu select Administration.

Step 2: From the Administration menu select Users.

Step 3: Locate required user via Name, Role and Status (note – currently name search allows search by first OR last name, not both together)

Step 4: Click Enter or Search (Blue button) beside required user.

Step 5: Select the drop-down arrow on the View (Blue button) beside required user.

Step 6: Select Change Password from the list of options.

Step 7: Enter and confirm a new password.

Step 8: Select Force password change on next login to ensure user will be prompted to enter a new password to replace this one after logging in.

Step 9: Click Update Password (Green button).
