Cancelling a PMHC episode

Occasionally, users may find it necessary to cancel an episode due to a number of internal or external reasons. The procedure outlined below will assist users in the process of cancelling an episode where treatment is no longer applicable.

Note: The ability to cancel an episode is based on user permission and an episode can only be cancelled if there is no attached data that would be updated to the MDS portal.

  1. Open the episode you wish to Cancel.
  2. From the Details tab select Cancel Case.
  3. Enter a Reason for cancelling referral and the Referral Outcome Date.
  4. Select Cancel Case.
